Solar power to shine through in the Middle‬ ‪East, not an option. It’s a necessity..

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region receives one of the highest‬‬
‪solar radiations in the world. This potential is now starting to be more‬‬
‪seriously considered, driven by rapidly increasing energy need, the PV‬‬
‪modules have also undergone significant price decreases and finally, an‬‬
‪increasing awareness of the costs of burning natural resources.‬‬

‪Several countries like: Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, United Arab Emirates,‬‬
‪Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, have ambitious solar plans as well as evolving‬‬
‪policies and regulatory frameworks to support these goals. Demonstration‬‬
‪projects are being deployed in some countries, while large scale projects‬‬
‪are being deployed in others. ‬‬
‪Besides, MENA region could become home to a new industry with great‬‬
‪potential growth. The region could benefit from significant job and wealth‬‬
‪creation.‬‬

‪With the solar market poised to grow further, this presentation will analyze‬‬
‪and review the nature and scope of the current market and the outlook for‬‬
‪the regional PV including the solar panels production‬‬
