Biography
Dr Catherine Chan completed her BE in Photovoltaic Engineering and BSc (Physics) at UNSW Australia in 2009. She went on to receive her PhD in Photovoltaic Engineering in 2014 at UNSW in the area of novel laser processes for solar cells. She is now a postdoctoral research fellow at UNSW working on crystalline silicon solar cell research and development. Her research interests include advanced hydrogen passivation of defects in silicon, and understanding light-induced degradation in both mono and multi-crystalline solar cells.
