Zhongyi Bian, DSM B.V

Zhongyi Bian is currently Business Director and Global Sales Director at Royal DSM B.V. and is responsible for DSM’s activities in the Solar PV industry in APAC region. As education background he went through MBA course and polymer material & science.

Zhongyi Bian joined DSM in 1992 and since then has held various technical, marketing and sales, and business positions in different businesses of DSM material cluster. He possesses both China and overseas working experiences.

DSM develops material and technology concepts that increase the efficiency of solar modules, bringing down the cost of solar energy. DSM’s anti-reflective coating is widely recognized as the benchmark for single layer nano-porous silica coating. This technology is the basis for DSM’s new generation of specialty coatings, such as an anti-soiling coating. Building on its >40 years of experience in polymer science and application, DSM extended its portfolio by offering a new range of co-extruded, fluor-free backsheets, which are extremely durable and reliable and bringing further down the LCOE.
